Catherine began her career as a Piping Engineer upon graduating from Clemson University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Before joining Isomer, Catherine worked at Day and Zimmerman as a Piping Engineer, gaining experience in piping modeling. During her time at Clemson, she spent 4 co-op rotations at Koops automation as a Project Engineer, Mechanical Engineer and Controls Engineer. Catherine gained valuable experience with the equipment and machines used in manufacturing plants to automate processes in the automotive, chemical, and medical industries. As a project engineer she worked with debugging machines, communicating with the customer and communicating with each engineering discipline to make the machine work efficiently and correctly. As a mechanical engineer, she designed automation machines, and as a controls engineer, she programmed those machines, along with electrical design.
Catherine and Christian have two dogs, Duke and Emmie. Christian is a Production Controller for Chinooks in the National Guard, working on his Mechanical Engineering degree. Catherine loves playing and snuggling with her two pups. She enjoys anything Clemson and is always up for going out with friends and doing something fun, which is just about anything. Catherine also loves hiking, reading a good book, especially on a rainy day, and crocheting.
