Isomer was engaged to provide Project Management and Construction Oversight services for a 15TPD ag-based fiber thermoforming line retrofit. After experiencing a significant amount of downtime due to unreliable molding equipment, new molders were selected to be installed in an existing manufacturing building in place of the existing machines. Isomer served as the owner’s Project Manager through the entire detailed design engineering phase, working with the engineering team and vendors to compress the design schedule to just three and a half months. Isomer developed construction scope of work packages and facilitated competitive bid and contractor selection phases in parallel with the completion of detailed design. The team remained engaged through the completion of construction, working with contractors and suppliers to ensure construction sequencing and technical delivery. The project was completed on schedule with startup occurring just nine months after project kickoff.
