Drywall Compound Manufacturing Facility ISBL Design

Full-service ISBL engineering services beginning in FEL2 and continuing through Detailed Design for a new Drywall Compound Manufacturing Facility to expand client’s market footprint into a new location and optimize new plant performance. The client’s existing manufacturing facility was developed organically over the lifetime of their company, and allowed for the implementation of design improvements to the ISBL production systems. The process employs pneumatic conveyance systems to provide mixers with dry material inputs where they are combined with liquid additions to produce drywall compound that is packaged prior to distribution. The Isomer scope included a complete ISBL FEL2 package that was used to develop an AACE Class 4 Estimate. Upon project approval, the team continued into Detailed Design and completed the design of the ISBL production system, including equipment design and procurement support, piping system design, platform structural steel design, and electrical and instrumentation design and procurement support.
