GREENVILLE, South Carolina — Isomer Project Group is pleased to announce the addition of Brianna Bui as a Project Engineer. With her recent graduation from NC State University in May 2024, where she earned dual degrees in Chemical Engineering and Paper Science and Engineering, Brianna brings valuable experience in process engineering, particularly within the pulp and paper industry.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Brianna to the Isomer team,” says RL Simpson, Managing Partner. “Brianna’s eagerness to learn, innovate, and build meaningful relationships will be a tremendous asset. Her approach aligns perfectly with our mission, and we are confident that her contributions will greatly benefit our clients and our ongoing projects.”

Brianna’s academic career included four internships and a co-op rotation. She completed internships with Yates, New Indy Containerboard, and Eastman Chemical, and her co-op rotation was with WestRock. At Yates, she focused on the FEL process and designed WinGEMS models for clients. Her roles as a Process Engineer at New Indy and WestRock involved working on environmental projects and supporting paper machine projects. Additionally, at Eastman, she developed Aspen models for both current and future processes.

“Isomer is a hub of talent, and I am excited to join a team that values knowledge sharing,” Brianna says. “I look forward to diving into projects and exploring all that Isomer has to offer.”
