GREENVILLE, South Carolina — Nate Overby has joined Isomer Project Group as a Senior Project Engineer, bringing nearly 15 years of structural engineering experience to Isomer's structural group. Nate is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a background in the industrial sector, where he has coordinated across disciplines with public and private clients and on-site field contractors. His project history has called for teamwork, ingenuity, and close coordination, and he's built a versatile skill set that translates well across project types.

"I've had the pleasure of knowing Nate since being in the engineering program together at Clemson University and then working together at a large EPC firm.” Says John Hoppe, partner. “We were early in our careers and earned our stripes together on large, complex industrial projects. Since then, he has proven himself across various roles and companies to be highly skilled and able to deliver excellent service to his customers. He has always carried himself with high character and a great attitude. I'm thrilled to be working with him again at Isomer, and confident he'll be a great culture fit and quality leader for our CSA team."

Before joining Isomer, Nate most recently served as a Senior Structural Engineer at Wood. His career has included roles with large global EPC firms, including AMEC Foster Wheeler/Wood, mid-sized regional firms such as Orbital Engineering Inc., and the governmental sector at the Virginia Commercial Space Flight Authority. Nate's project experience spans a wide range of scale and complexity, from small upgrades at existing paper mills to the design and construction of new rocket launch facilities for the Department of Defense. He enjoys the multidisciplinary coordination required on large projects but also appreciates the focused technical work involved in designing steel structures and concrete foundations.

"I am delighted to join the talented team at Isomer, which has proven to be a consistent and reliable partner for its clients," Nate says. "I look forward to putting my structural engineering experience to work in support of multidisciplinary collaboration, and to helping solve the complex projects and unique challenges ahead."
