Front-end engineering services were provided for a pelletized corn stover feedstock production facility intended to supply sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) projects. The scope included development of a material balance and high-level engineering definition for an integrated system to receive, store, condition, size, dry, pelletize, and cool corn stover sourced from regional agricultural operations. The objective was to convert an abundant, seasonally available agricultural residue into a consistent, transportable solid feedstock suitable for downstream SAF production. Work performed focused on preliminary equipment sizing, evaluation of process configuration options, and development of a feasibility-level site layout to support early project screening. The deliverables were intended to inform project feasibility, identify key technical considerations, and support decision-making related to further engineering development and potential project execution.
