Isomer provided full-service ISBL engineering beginning in FEL-2 and continuing through Detailed Design for the addition of a Dry Bagging system at an existing drywall compound manufacturing facility. This expansion represented Phase 2 of a broader facility program, following initial design and construction of the building and Ready-Mix production systems. FEL-2 for the Dry Bagging scope was executed concurrently with Detailed Design of Phase 1, resulting in an AACE Class 4 estimate to support final project approval. This approach enabled anticipated utility demands and footprint allowances for the expansion to be incorporated into the initial buildout. The system utilized pneumatic conveyance to feed dry mixers and downstream bagging and palletizing. Isomer’s scope included equipment design and procurement support, piping design, structural platform steel, and electrical and instrumentation design.
