Isomer provided full-service detail design for a Velvet Facility relocation, including developing a complete set of as-built drawings compiled through walkdowns. Multiple production models were created to evaluate cycle times, operational hours, throughput, and utility consumption, supporting business and equipment planning. Bid procurement and coordination with a third-party vendor for dust and effluent air stream testing were included in the scope. Used boilers purchased by the client were incorporated into a 3D model following a laser scan of the boiler room, which was made accessible for client use. The model was also used during an investor meeting, allowing potential investors to explore the facility via VR headset. The civil team secured floodplain, wetland, and land disturbance permits, as well as approvals for new water and sewer main extensions. A water recycling study was completed, outlining CAPEX, OPEX, expected ROI, and multiple equipment technology options for future implementation.
