Matthew graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Computer Engineering. He began his career at Yates Engineers as an instrumentation and controls engineer immediately following graduation. Matthew has been a part of multiple projects in the pulp and paper industry, from paper machines to molded fiber manufacturing. He has focused on database management and developing instrument datasheets. Matthew is passionate about delivering excellent work and value to clients.
Matthew and his wife Katie met during their freshman year at Clemson University and married in June 2023. They live in Greenville, SC, and love having all their extended family nearby. Katie has her master’s degree in Elementary Education and works as a third-grade teacher. Matthew and Katie are members of First Presbyterian Church and enjoy the activities and fellowship it offers. Matthew’s hobbies consist of tinkering with his home servers, watching any and all Clemson sports, grilling, and spending time with his family.
