EXPERIENCE

4 MGD Wastewater Treatment System and Balance of Plant

Isomer provided multi-discipline FEL3 engineering for a new 4.0 MGD Wastewater Treatment System at an existing linerboard mill. Isomer collaboratively worked with the client to determine a best-fit approach for effluent treatment, including segregation of stormwater flows, through evaluation of the existing stream characteristics. A system vendor was engaged to provide the anaerobic and aerobic treatment technologies while Isomer led integration into the existing mill operations and Balance of Plant engineering. Key design deliverables included a water balance, Balance of Plant P&IDs, priced equipment list including firm system pricing, stormwater design, and preliminary engineering for process piping, electrical infrastructure, instrumentation, and support structures. Isomer successfully delivered the FEL3 Engineering package to support a total installed cost project estimate performed collectively by the project team, including a Construction Manager partner onboarded during FEL3.
