About Jon

Jon is a licensed professional engineer (PE) with diverse experience in heavy industrial facility design, including significant recent experience in the Energy Transition fields. He has served as a lead Mechanical/Process Engineer and department leader while also managing projects as a Project Engineer and Project Manager. In these positions, he has successfully led and supported multiple EPC projects from $10 million to $300 million, including Green Hydrogen, Biomass to Liquids, Pulp and Paper, and Specialty Chemical industries. Jon has also completed FEED efforts on various projects in these same industries. Jon’s experience includes PFD and P&ID development, process equipment design, procurement, pipe stress analysis, construction support, project management, and discipline group management. Jon is passionate about providing quality engineering services that fit customer needs. He brings an open-minded approach to problem-solving, a wide-ranging technical background, a team-focused coordination mindset, and excellent communication skills to clients and project teams.

Jon and Valyn are initially from Florida, although after years in the upstate, they are proud to claim Greenville as home. Valyn was a Medical Sonographer before stepping away to stay at home with their three young children and now works part-time in the Kids Ministry at Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church, where Jon also serves as a deacon. When not chasing their kids around pretending to be dinosaurs, they enjoy hiking, playing tennis, pickleball, and generally getting around outdoors. Jon is also a Chicago Cubs fan who looks forward to a lifetime of likely unfulfilled hope for a repeat of 2016’s World Series.
