Ben graduated from Clemson University with a degree in chemical engineering. During his undergrad, he completed a co-op with Thermo Fisher Scientific and an internship with Isomer. At Thermo Fisher, he learned capital project management, equipment commissioning, and cGMP manufacturing practices. While at Isomer, he contributed to projects across wastewater treatment, waste-to-value, and pulp and paper at the FEL and detailed design level. In Clemson's Birtwistle Lab, Ben developed an interest in computational modeling, helping build a mechanistic model capable of predicting how cells respond to different combinations of cancer drugs. Ben is excited to combine his passion for modeling and engineering to solve the toughest challenges for Isomer's clients.
Ben is the oldest of three children and grew up in Simpsonville, SC. While not at work, he can be found at a local coffee shop trying coffee from across the world, on a hike, traveling, or on the golf course. Ben is passionate about collecting vintage watches and is always on the lookout for a new watch to add to the collection. His current favorite is a Seiko 7002 from the 1990s. Ben has been an avid Clemson fan since childhood and loves attending Clemson football and basketball games with family and friends.
