About J.R.

J.R. began his career as a Project Engineer a year after his graduation from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. During his senior Capstone project, he was tasked with managing a group of 20 peers in designing and building a thermal tensile testing chamber for metal specimens, which he has parlayed into multi-discipline experience at Isomer. Following his graduation, he volunteered to spend two months in Denver, Colorado as a part of the North American Missions Board’s (NAMB) GenSend mission program. There he spent time assisting newly planted churches in engaging and loving the surrounding communities of Denver, leading a children's summer camp, and organizing neighborhood festivals. Following this seasonal opportunity, he served as an assistant director to Clemson’s Baptist Collegiate Ministry for a year, where he was tasked with handling ministry finances, teaching small groups, and cultivating an environment for college students to grow and become leaders in their communities. J.R. is always determined to find where innovative engineering designs and meaningful client partnerships can intersect.

Outside of work, you’ll most often find J.R. hiking, playing soccer, visiting friends in the Upstate, or scouring the earth for vintage T-shirts. He enjoys community-building, spending as much time outside as possible, attending live concerts, and fitting in some time to play video games. He is active in his community through CityLights Church in Greenville.
