Greenville, South Carolina - James Martzin has joined Isomer Project Group as a Project Engineer, strengthening their process design capabilities. James began his career as a process engineer upon graduation from Clemson University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Before joining Isomer, he served as both a design engineer and an area-lead engineer for Wood.

"Having worked closely with James in the past, I am excited to welcome him to the Isomer team," says Daniel Deery, a partner of the company. "I've known James for several years, and first and foremost, he comes from a great family and is an outstanding person. I know he'll bring a positive attitude, drive, and energy to our team and customers. In addition, James is a detailed, thorough design engineer who takes personal ownership of every challenge. He has already added tremendous value, and we look forward to continuing to experience his impact!"

James has a wide array of experience in engineering design, construction support, and startup support across both the pulp and paper and specialty chemicals industries. His process design experience includes equipment sizing, heat and material balances, and process and utility system design. In addition, James augments his technical competencies by leveraging his onsite experience providing startup support to large capital projects. For example, he was a key player in identifying installation flaws and providing solutions during the startup of a $250MM+ paper mill modernization project. Most recently, James provided conceptual FEL2/FEL3 design services for a first-to-market confidential project. A customer-first mindset and a solid technical background are key attributes he brings to his clients, project teams, and Isomer Project Group, where he is a project engineer in the company.

"I am excited to join the Isomer team as they continue developing various competitive engineering and project management solutions for a multitude of promising industries. The team at Isomer is a sharp, forward-looking, and client-minded group which aligns well with my personal and professional values. I look forward to helping shape the next generation of project execution approaches at Isomer." says James.
