GREENVILLE, South Carolina —Isomer Project Group proudly welcomes Riley Butler as our new Project Engineer. A Clemson University alumnus with a master's degree in structural engineering, Riley's career has been a journey of constant growth and diversification. His professional experience began with Wood (AMEC) and later transitioned to Yates Engineers, where he honed his skills in structural engineering. Riley’s proficiency spans the entire spectrum of project development, from the early stages of front-end engineering to detailed design and construction, particularly in the pulp and paper and specialty chemicals sectors.

John Hoppe, a partner at Isomer Project Group, shares his enthusiasm, “We are thrilled to welcome Riley to the Isomer team. Having known Riley personally since his student days at Clemson University, I have observed his career progression over the last several years from a summer intern to a licensed, lead structural engineer. He brings a wealth of experience in Civil and Structural disciplines that align perfectly with the diverse projects we undertake for our clients. Riley is not only a results-driven individual but also a well-rounded team player who collaborates effectively with others. His ability to coordinate and communicate ensures that projects move forward smoothly, reflecting his commitment to both individual excellence and collective success. Riley is a fantastic fit for our team and truly embodies the core principles and people-first culture of our company.”

In his past roles, Riley tackled projects demanding intricate design solutions, including complex foundation and steel structure designs. His project portfolio includes the design of steel structures for platform modifications in existing buildings to large greenfield process buildings across multiple states. Now part of the Isomer team, Riley is keen to explore new methods of design execution and gain a deeper understanding of the overall design process. His leadership style is marked by clear communication, effective teamwork, and unwavering technical precision.

Expressing his excitement about joining Isomer, Riley said, “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to join the Isomer team in their mission to provide excellent and innovative solutions for clients in both traditional and emerging markets. I am specifically excited to work alongside some of the best in the business when it comes to project design and execution. Isomer’s core values of focusing on client and employee's well-being really stood out to me and is something I placed a high value on when deciding to join the team.” Riley’s addition to Isomer Project Group is a testament to our commitment to attracting top talent dedicated to excellence in service and innovation.
