Isomer provided civil engineering, permit coordination, and construction administration for the re-development of an existing site in downtown Greenville for the construction of a Starbucks coffee house. The project was located on a developed 0.73-acre site that was previously utilized for a three-tenant commercial building. Isomer engineers worked closely with the City of Greenville and client to obtain board of zoning appeal (BZA) and Starbucks corporate approvals on the proposed site layout. This effort included BZA attendance and document preparation, coordination meetings with Starbucks corporate team and City of Greenville, site design and permitting, SCDOT encroachment permitting, sewer service design and approval, water service design and approval, vehicular and pedestrian access, landscaping design, and layout of retaining walls.
