Isomer was engaged by a Private Equity firm to provide Technical Due Diligence for a potential investment in a cellulose insulation manufacturer pursuing facility and portfolio expansion. The scope included data room review, management interviews, and a site visit to the existing facility. The assessment evaluated the manufacturing process and key risk areas, including engineering design, equipment selection and integration, and potential operational bottlenecks. Operational analysis addressed feedstock flexibility, final product specifications and throughput rates, utilities demand, maintenance practices, and downtime risks. Isomer also reviewed the manufacturer’s expansion plans, including construction execution, schedule feasibility, and projected capital expenditures, operating costs, and forecasted revenues. Findings were delivered to the Private Equity firm in a comprehensive Red Flags report.
