Isomer provided FEL-3 design and estimating services for all required disciplines. A site visit was performed at project kickoff to confirm utility interfaces and create as-built sketches. The design included the development of piping & instrumentation diagrams and building a project equipment list with associated data sheets. The data sheets were used to solicit budget pricing and equipment drawings from preferred suppliers, and a 3D model was developed to integrate the new equipment and structures within the existing facility. The team facilitated model reviews with the owner to determine the optimal layout to balance operations, maintenance, and capital requirements. The team successfully value-engineered several million dollars in cost savings for the client with excellent on-budget, on-time delivery.
