Isomer provided civil engineering, permit coordination, and construction administration for the re-development of an existing site in the City of Gaffney for the construction of a Chipotle quick service restaurant. The project was located on a developed 1.14-acre site that was previously utilized for a Bank of America. Isomer engineers worked closely with the client to integrate Bank of America infrastructure (ATM) into the design and allow it to function during and after construction. The existing bank building was removed, however, the existing site topography was challenging and site development had to incorporate a drop of over 2' from the back of the property to the front while keeping the existing roadway infrastructure intact. Coordination meetings with Architect and Chipotle corporate team, site design and permitting, sewer service modification design, water service modification, vehicular and pedestrian access, and landscaping design.
