James began his professional career as a process engineer after graduating from Clemson University. Leveraging his experience researching lignin at Clemson, James started his career in the world of paper mill capital projects. James has worked on process, mechanical, and piping design on traditional and emerging technology paper projects. He has experience designing core process systems, utility systems, and everything in-between. James believes there is always a more efficient way to handle management of change for critical project data and relentlessly pursues better solutions for maintaining up-to-date documentation. James is passionate about pursuing excellent work and delivering the best possible solutions to his clients.
James is remodeling a house in Taylors, South Carolina, and always has a new home improvement project to work on. He also volunteers extensively with Trail Life USA - so you can find him hiking all over the upstate teaching young men survival and leadership skills. In his remaining time, you can find him reading, serving at Fairview Presbyterian Church, tinkering on cars, jamming with friends, and spending time with his niece and nephews.
