Full service FEED and Detailed Design Engineering for a new 300,000 gallon capacity tank farm storing Class I, II, and III flammable and combustible liquids. This project implemented a combination of UL-142 and API-650 IFR shop-fabricated storage tanks, a diked containment area, new electrical room, new fire suppression system, new pump house for railcar loading, and new inventory management system. Isomer provided the FEL1 package and ROM estimate before transitioning to detailed design. The multi-discipline detailed design deliverables included an equipment list, P&IDs, procurement packages for equipment, MCCs, and instruments, and all piping, structural, and electrical construction deliverables. Based on a detailed code review, the team developed a strategy to work within the existing site occupancy classification constraints which enabled the project to move forward. Isomer also supported the contractor bid, selection, and award process. The project was successfully completed on time and within the estimated ROM budget.
