Isomer completed detailed design for a maintenance and reliability project on an existing linerboard machine focused on improving the tail cutter system to reduce felt damage and enhance overall machine runnability. Working closely with the owner and OEM, Isomer supported installation of new tail cutters in repositioned locations, requiring integration of a high-pressure water pump skid and a new solenoid cabinet with relief valves, I/O cards, and drives. Several planning and constructability reviews were conducted during design. The scope included P&ID updates, piping lists and specifications, and electrical power plans, schedules, and elementaries. Isomer coordinated use of existing containment areas and infrastructure to minimize capital cost and outage duration and provided onsite outage support to ensure seamless integration of the upgraded system.
