Isomer was engaged by an investment firm to perform due diligence on a waste heat to power developer, evaluating a project underway and several others in development. The review covered technical completeness, organizational readiness, engineering definition, execution planning, commercial contracts, and pipeline maturity, including the design basis, heat source integration, equipment and vendor scope, capital cost estimates, schedule logic and contingency, and EPC, interconnection, heat supply, and offtake agreements, as well as the developer's staffing, project controls, QA/QC, permitting status, and O&M strategy. Findings, validated through a site visit and personnel interviews, were categorized by likelihood and impact on cost, schedule, and performance, with mitigations recommended for each. Deliverables included a Red Flags Memorandum and a Technical Due Diligence report supporting the client's investment committee decision.
