Isomer provided full civil engineering, permit coordination, and construction administration services for a new greenfield Zaxby's quick-service restaurant on a 1.6-acre undeveloped parcel adjacent to a large commercial park. Working closely with the client before the site was purchased, Isomer conducted a site evaluation that uncovered a future NCDOT roadway improvement project with direct impacts to the parcel. By identifying this constraint early, the team adjusted the design to accommodate the anticipated roadwork while minimizing impact to the site, protecting the project's viability and meeting the client's operational needs. Isomer supported the project from concept through construction, including civil site design and permitting; sanitary sewer and water service design and approval; water service design and approval; NCDOT coordination; vehicular and pedestrian access design; and construction administration.
