James Martzin

About James

James began his professional career as a process engineer after graduating from Clemson University. Leveraging his experience researching lignin at Clemson, James started his career in the world of paper mills. James' experience focuses on large capital projects in wood fiber and chemical industries while working for Wood. James is a certified engineer-in-training (EIT) and is on the path to obtaining his professional engineer (PE) license. He has experience designing central process systems, utility systems, and everything in-between. James has also worked on mechanical equipment design for capital projects. James is passionate about pursuing excellent work and delivering the best possible solutions to his clients.

James maintains a hobby farm in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, and always has some fresh eggs available. He also volunteers extensively with Trail Life USA - so you can find him hiking all over the upstate teaching young men survival and leadership skills. In his remaining time, you can find him reading, serving at Fairview Presbyterian Church, tinkering on cars, jamming with friends, and spending time with his niece and nephew.
