GREENVILLE, South Carolina — Isomer Project Group warmly welcomes Catherine MacCheyne as our newest Project Engineer, strengthening our capabilities in piping engineering. After earning her degree in mechanical engineering from Clemson University, Catherine started her career at Day and Zimmerman, setting the stage for her move to Isomer.

Michael Curtis, our Staff Designer, reflects on his experience with Catherine: “Having worked with Catherine briefly before I joined Isomer, I quickly saw her potential. Watching her grow and learn from some of the best in our field is something I look forward to. Catherine is hardworking, meticulous, and has a great way with people. She’s already making her mark at Isomer Project Group. Her adaptability, technical know-how, and proficiency in software make her a valuable addition to our team.”

Catherine’s previous experience includes four co-op rotations at Koops Automation, where she gained experience on equipment and machinery in manufacturing, contributing to automation processes in industries like automotive, chemical, and medical. Her role involved troubleshooting machines and improving their efficiency, demonstrating her collaborative spirit and mechanical engineering skills in the design and programming of automation machines.

Catherine shares her enthusiasm: “I’m excited to be part of the Isomer team and look forward to contributing to innovative and impactful projects. The supportive and knowledgeable environment here is ideal for learning and growing.
