Isomer provided multi-discipline Owner’s Engineering services during development of the FEL-3 engineering package for a new 20 million gallon per year Renewable Fuel Oil production facility. The project scope included woody biomass receiving and processing, pyrolysis oil production systems, and balance-of-plant utilities. Isomer performed structured reviews of key process deliverables throughout FEL-3 development, while also supporting back-end discipline feasibility assessments and overall schedule management. The team evaluated integration risks across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and controls scopes to help reduce downstream execution uncertainty. Following completion of the FEL-3 package, Isomer conducted a final cost estimate review and provided technical input during the EPC contractor evaluation and selection process. Isomer remains engaged as the facility proceeds into detailed design and construction.
