Isomer completed detailed design for a maintenance and reliability project on an existing linerboard machine, including installation of a new dust collection system to resolve glue buildup and sensor reliability issues caused by excess dust. The system included new suction nozzles, a dust extraction unit (fan and filter), rails, a PLC cabinet, and associated valving and ductwork. Isomer worked closely with the owner and OEM to integrate the package into the existing facility, coordinating utilities and controls while routing ductwork to accommodate site constraints and vendor design criteria. An NFPA code review informed system layout and safety requirements, and 3D modeling was used to verify duct routing and avoid interferences. Isomer remained engaged through outage execution to support installation and ensure successful startup.
